What can I publish on Tidnum?

Everything. Long-form articles, videos, podcasts, essays, research, tutorials — any content creators make. Posts can be free, subscriber-only at a specific tier, or early-access (free after a set number of days). There's no format requirement or editorial approval needed.

How do I set up subscription tiers?

Create tiers and set the price for each one. Every tier can unlock different content — posts, videos, podcasts, community access, or anything else you want. You control the pricing and what subscribers get. Readers pick a tier, pay monthly, and can cancel any time.

How is this different from Patreon or Ko-fi?

Tidnum charges 6% flat. Patreon charges 10–12% depending on your plan, Ko-fi charges 5% but has no video hosting built-in. Tidnum includes video hosting, and more importantly, Tidnum is designed specifically for independent creators — not a compromise between multiple use cases like Patreon or Ko-fi. The result is a more intuitive experience for both creators and subscribers, and a cleaner relationship between them.

What are the platform fees?

6% flat platform fee on all revenue — no hidden tiers, no premium plans. Stripe's payment processing (~2.9% + 30¢) comes off first and goes directly to Stripe. Of what remains, Tidnum takes 6%, and the creator gets 94%. Payouts are free.

Can I use Tidnum alongside my own website?

Yes. Use Tidnum as your primary monetization platform, or run it in parallel with your own site. You can set canonical URLs and republish content anywhere. The goal is to help you build sustainable income, however you structure your presence.

How do payouts work?

Tidnum uses Stripe Connect. Connect your Stripe account once, earnings accumulate, and you can withdraw whenever you want — with a 50$ minimum threshold. Funds hit your bank account typically within 2 business days.
